Bach's Double Violin Concerto
Bach's Concerto for Two Violins, one of Bach's most famous and beloved works, will feature SPCO violinists Maureen Nelson and Kyu-Young Kim. The program closes with Mendelssohn's First Symphony, completed when he was just 15 years old. As a part of this concert, second- and third-year musicians from the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS) Harmony program will showcase their violin skills by performing two pieces led by Barbara Flooding, Isabel Dammann and GTCYS student mentors.
