Boredom busters!

Big news, parents: We’re doing a “boredom busters” giveaway — with a super-fabulous prize pack of toys (a retail value of $130), to keep your cooped-up kids active and engaged!

To enter, email us a photo of your kid(s) keeping busy at home (playing, doing homework, reading for fun — anything other than screen time) to editor@mnparent.com with the subject line #boredombusters!

Please include (1) your child’s first name, (2) city and (3) age in the photo. Your kid may appear in a future issue of Minnesota Parent magazine!

Deadline: 5 p.m. Thursday, April 23.

We’ll announce a winner Friday and the winner will receive the toys by mail.

Good luck!

PLAYMOBIL’s 1.2.3 My First Train Set is ideal for toddlers 18 months to 3 years.

Birdie Golf (ages 4 and up) features birdie-style balls, two clubs and a cup that lets kids create a course anywhere, even indoors.

Pop and Pass
(ages 6 and up) includes two lacrosse-style basket catchers that double as launches for soft foam balls to give kids a new backyard challenge.

StikBot action figures (ages 3 and up) are fun to play with, thanks to their suction-cup feet and posable limbs. But they’re also huge with young stop-motion movie makers, now boasting more than 360 million views on YouTube, thanks to the free StikBot Studio app.
