Sneeze sleeve

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends coughing and sneezing into the upper sleeve to help stop germs from spreading.

For a kid with a major cold, that’s a lot of sleeve slime. Enter the Sneeve — a disposable, anti-microbial sleeve designed to absorb the yucky stuff ($6.99 for a box of 7).

Sized for ages 3 to 8, the stretchy, bright blue Sneeve reminds kids to cough and sneeze into their arms (and reminds parents of somethng Dr. Seuss would say).

Editor's note: We know what you're probably thinking: "Ewwww!" That's what we thought, too.

But we actually offered a Sneeve to our sufficienty sick 7-year-old tester — and he actually (a) wanted to put one on, (b) wore it, (c) used it according to the package instructions and (d) was willing to wear it to school!

And it actually absorbed the snot and stayed dry (not gross).
