About the Owner, Katie Heruth:

Hi everyone! I’m Katie, the parent behind Minnesota Parent. Thank you for being here!
 
A little bit about me:
• I am married to my husband Jeff. We have two kids and one dog.
• I worked in the Early Education field for 18 years and learned a lot about parenting and raising kids!
• We love to explore! We are always checking out new places.
• I love walking & taking bike rides in the summer. We bike to the Coon Rapids Dam every week!
• Our farthest road trip in Minnesota has been to Big Fork, MN (a 4-hour drive). Our longest road trip in the U.S. is Phoenix, AZ (24 hours), in 2021…we stayed for two months 🙂
• I took over as the owner/publisher of Minnesota Parent in 2021. I love sharing information with other parents to help them out in any way possible. Parenting is a big job. Let’s be there for each other!
