About Us

Minnesota Parent is the Twin Cities’ premier parenting magazine, published every month for busy moms and dads looking for parenting ideas and inspiration, helpful local resources and oodles of fun activities happening right here in Minnesota!

Our magazines are FREE at newsstands statewide, available around the first of the month. We print 45,000 copies every month — and over 90 percent of them are picked up from our more than 1,000 rack sites.

You can also have our glossy magazine mailed to your home. Simply subscribe. You’ll also find all our back issues in digital format right here.

On mnparent.com, you’ll find not just our award-winning columnists and local feature stories, but also new parenting blogs, plus indispensible online resource guides, including Mom & BabyEducation and Camp.

You can receive our content, plus great events and news, straight to your inbox by signing up for our weekly email newsletter.

We’re also the team behind the annual Minnesota Parent Family Directory, a digital and printed guide to more than 200 family-friendly attractions in the Twin Cities, plus over 50 can’t-miss events just for families. Look for copies of Family Directory right next to our Minnesota Parent racks — or browse the digital version.

We’re a locally-owned, family-run business, part of Minnesota Premier Publications, which also publishes Minnesota Good Age magazine, the Southwest Journal (serving southwest Minneapolis) and The Journal, serving downtown and Northeast Minneapolis.

We love digging into all things parenting!
