The Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby is a world-class sled dog race that brings the incredible sport of mushing to our local community. The 8-dog, 40-mile race will start and finish on Water Street in the heart of historic Excelsior, Minnesota and then run along the beautiful shores of Lower Lake Minnetonka.
The Klondike is a FREE family-friendly event, but your donations help make it a reality! Your tax-deductible donations are greatly appreciated and all net profits from the 2023 race will be donated to our two- and four-legged friends through our charity partners: Can-Do Canines, Adopt a Husky Minnesota and ICA Food Shelf.
