2024 Minneapolis Arbor Day Celebration

The 2024 Minneapolis Arbor Day Celebration is at McRae Park and Recreation Center on Friday, April 26, 4-8 pm! Tons of great activities and entertainment are planned:
🌳 Help plant a tree in the park with representatives from the Minnesota Vikings
🧗 Harnessed tree climbing and bucket truck rides under the supervision of Forestry professionals
🌲 Free tree care advice from the Ask an Arborist booth
♟ Tree-sized lawn games like chess, checkers and Kubb
🆒 Information and activities from environmental and neighborhood organizations like Green Cities Accord and Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group
🏆 Arbor Day Pickleball Tournament on McRae Park’s new pickleball courts
🏃 The Brewery Running Series is hosting its annual Arbor Day Run at the park with proceeds supporting urban forestry outreach, including a Sapling Dash for kids!
🎷 Music from Brass Solidarity, Minneapolis South High Music Boosters, and The Arborators, a band comprised of forestry professionals who will play a set from the treetops!
🍻 Local food trucks and a beer garden sponsored by Brewing a Better Forest and Modist Brewing Company
