4th Annual Minnehaha Creek Duck Race

Get ready for the Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group’s 4th Annual Minnehaha Creek Duck Race on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.!

The Duck Race begins at 11 a.m. at the 12th Ave. Bridge & Minnehaha Parkway, and finishes with a neighborhood festival just before the Cedar Ave. Bridge, when all the ducks have floated downstream to complete the race. Find more info at frrng.org/duck-race

*EVENT HIGHLIGHTS*

– Sponsor a duck (or a whole flock of them) and cheer them along to win prizes at frnng.org/duck-race

– The Gray Duck prize raffle is now full.

– Free face painting for kids (or adults!).

– Food trucks: Finer Meats & Eats, Muddy Tiger, Eggroll Queen and Saint Pops.

– Meet Minneapolis Firefighters and see a Minneapolis Fire Department Truck.

– Fun activities and tables from Minneapolis Parks’ Naturalists, Elmer the Tree, Hennepin County Library, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, We Garden on 15th, Hale and Field Elementaries and more.

– Bags and gloves for anyone who can help to collect trash and recycling along the Creek. Every single duck is collected and reused from year to year.

– Everyone is welcome, so bring your family and friends and enjoy the outdoors with us!
