Join us for a 5k fun run + Sapling (kids) Dash in celebration of Arbor Day! 100% of proceeds support Brewing a Better Forest

Friday, April 26 | McRae Park, Minneapolis | Arbor Day festivities 4-8PM, fun run activities start at 6:00PM

Register here to join the family friendly Fun Run activities! All part of a bigger, annual Arbor Day festival organized by Brewing a Better Forest and Minneapolis Parks and Rec – full of tree-themed activities and educational opportunities, art, music, food, beer and, of course, new trees! Anyone can help Park Arborists plant new trees.

Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back. 100% of proceeds from this event support Brewing a Better Forest – local arborists (who love craft beer) and their efforts to engage our community, keeping young trees watered and our running trails healthy and green.

“Sapling Dash” with Elmer the Elm Tree / youth entry ( 4-12 years old) – $18
-25, 50 and 100 Yard Dash in McRae Park (waves start at 6:00PM)

5k Fun Run / Walk Entry – $35
-5k Fun Run course in McRae Park (waves start at 6:15PM)
-1 craft beverage from the beer garden – n/a beverage options available for anyone under 21

-100% of proceeds support Brewing a Better Forest

Family Pass – $100
-Entry for 4 participants (select Sapling Dash or 5k Distance at check out)
-4 craft beverage tokens redeemable for local craft beer or n/a root beer at the finish line
-Choice of collector’s swag items or event tshirt for each family participating (max 4 items)

Important details:
-This is an untimed, fun-run. All levels of walkers, runners and joggers are welcome.
-This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
-The course will be marked with arrows to help you know where to go.
-You must bring a valid ID or driver’s license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a non-alcoholic beverage.
-Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer.
-There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.
-Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, with care and caution. Please remember – you are running at your own risk on city sidewalks / streets / trails, which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and /or pint size running buddies. You will also want to check with the brewery to make sure you can abide by their dog / underage policies. Please make the best decision possible for your crew.
– Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
