Beauty and the Beast Jr. at MGMS

Maple Grove Middle School auditorium has been a hub of creative activity as cast members and crew have prepared to perform their spring musical, Beauty and the Beast Junior.
“It’s a very fun show with a lot of singing and dancing,” said Miles Farrens, an eighth grader who plays Lumiere. “All the characters definitely have chemistry in the show because we’ve all become close.”
Performances run from Thursday, April 13 through Saturday, April 15. There is a 7 p.m. show each of those three evenings, as well as an understudy performance at 3 p.m. on April 15. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students, seniors and children and can be purchased either at the door or online at https://mgms.seatyourself.biz.
“It’s a fun experience to check out,” said Sofia Trinidad, an eighth grader playing Cogsworth. “It will bring you joy.”
