* We are accepting ads via email and payment through VENMO. Once we receive your email, we will respond back with payment information. Your ad is not approved until you receive a confirmation email back. The same deadline of April 24th still applies.
What does my $10 pay for?
We advertise a link, the link contains a detailed listing of each sale and a map. We list the link in the following: The NEW Belle Plaine Bulletin, Henderson Independent, Southwest Newspaper(surrounding cities), Thrifty Minnesota MN garage sale page, radio, social media, flyers around Belle Plaine, New Prague, and Jordan, and 150 packets distributed at Kwik Trip and Casey’s. Your ad will be printed in the packets so shoppers can see your ad.
* No drop offs into our mail box will be accepted, this is in accordance to USPS guidelines and rules. If mailing is a problem, please feel free to reach out for a drop off location.
*If money and ad are not received by the deadline, we can’t promise an ad or a place on the map will be posted.
*Before sending in your ad, make sure it includes: Your name, address, sale dates, sale times, and items being sold at your sale.
*Flyers will be distributed to Kwik Trip and Casey’s the Wednesday evening before the sales start.
* This is NOT a city sponsored event. Please refrain from contacting city offices or chamber with questions.
*Friendly Reminder: One last thing to all our garage sale holders. Keep in mind the city ordinance when it comes to your signage. Your signs need to be at least 6 feet away from the curb. Please do not put them closer as it may block the view for drivers. DO NOT put sale signs in medians (example: median on East Main Street & South Hickory Blvd.- by Coborns) Also, as soon as your sale ends, PLEASE go out and collect your signs.
