Bison Welcome Home (free event)

Dakota County’s bison are settled into their home at Spring Lake Park Reserve and we’d like your help in formally welcoming them during the Bison Welcome Home.

Explore a self-guided informational trail May 26 through June 11 near the Fahey Trailhead (13690 Pine Bend Trail Rosemount, MN 55068), where you can learn about the bison as you catch glimpses of them roaming the West Paddock.

The Bison Welcome Home event culminates with a June 7 ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring a live musical performance by John Gorka, informational booths and refreshments from 4-6 p.m. (Address: 13690 Pine Bend Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068)
