CHROMA: A Color Spectrum Anthology Show

June 3, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Phantom Chorus Theatre presents their first large-scale production, CHROMA, performing the first two weekends in June at Dreamland Arts in Saint Paul and via live-streaming as well.

CHROMA is a new, original work: a collection of 9 scenes, each themed around a different color of the visual spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, black, and white). In this colorful adventure, audiences will witness eight different directors’ unique visions; an anthology told through the mediums of puppetry, movement, music, and multimedia.

The 8 local directors are:
RED by Mahmoud Hakima
ORANGE by Marc Berg
YELLOW by Aaron Fiskradatz
GREEN by Thalia Kostman
BLUE by Josh Vogen
INDIGO by Rhiannon Fiskradatz
VIOLET by Cheryl Yakacki, and
Black/White by Thomas Buan.

The show will feature new music composed by Steven Zubich, Rhiannon Fiskradatz, and Mahmoud Hakima.

Performers are: Thalia Kostman, Marc Berg, Rhiannon Fiskradatz, Josh Vogen, Alex Yang, Andrew Rosdail, Cheryl Yakacki, and Lindsey Oetken. Dylan Kostman is providing dramaturgy, choreography, and accessibility advice.

Tickets: Sliding Scale $7-$30. Both in person and live streaming ticket options available.

Ages: All ages, but we recommend the sensory-friendly option for those younger than 6.

Run Time: 90 minutes. No intermission.

CHROMA is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and culture heritage fund.
