Community Mural Paint Project

Help celebrate Delano’s 150th anniversary by contributing to a large-scale mosaic mural led by local artist LeAnna Wurzer! Throughout the year, community members of all ages and skill levels are invited to come paint a 3″x3″ canvas featuring a design curated by LeAnna. These individual pieces will come together as a one-of-a-kind mural, to be unveiled at the Annual Community Art Show in October 2026 and permanently displayed in the Delano Public Library. Our first paint session takes place in February with dates to follow in April, June, & August. Drop-in at any point during open hours and join us in painting a piece of Delano history! No registration required. This program is made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment.
