The best drag races of the year are here at the Eve Of Destruction at ELKO! Come see the MPTA cars tear around the track in one lap all out contests until a victor is crowned! Enjoy wild entertainment all night including monster trucks, Winrich Whips and live music by Gen X Jukebox. Bring your friends and family for a great night at our track.

What will be there?
MPTA Drag Races
These are the best drag races of the year! Come see the wildest drivers burn rubber to the checkered flag in one lap heats until the last driver standing is crowned the victor!
Monster Trucks
Bearly Tame and Redneck Rampage are here to kick up the dirt as these monster trucks take to the infield! Watch as the monsters of mayhem rip and tear through cars, hills, and the track itself.
Winrich Whips
Multi-world-record holding Adam “Crack” Winrich dazzles crowds with fire and sound with is whip cracking show. Catch him and his performance live on our Concourse.
Rocketman Show
See a man shot out of a cannon! The crazy Rocketman is flying over our track and into your hearts as he performs thrilling stunts to the joy of the crowd.
Petting Zoo
Kids can get up close and personal with the animals from Walton Hollow! Interact with multiple barnyard animals, ask questions of the handlers, and have a ‘wild’ time!
School Bus Figure-8 Races
The school bus races are the most dangerous race each night! Watch these crazy drivers bump and bang into each other as they race criss cross through the infield. Come see the chaos unfold!
Live Music With Gen X Jukebox
The rocking sounds of your favorite music is jamming out the doors of Champions! This band is playing the biggest hits from the 80s, 90s, and more. Dance it up!
Racing
All five classes of racing are running, including the young Bandoleros, Power Stocks, Late Models, Legends and Thundercars! Participate in the “wave laps” and cheer on your favorites!
After the races, join us at the drive-in for a showing of Mission Impossible:Dead Reckoning Part One. Movie starts at 10pm.

Come celebrate the extra long weekend of Labor Day with outdoor entertainment at ELKO! with the Eve Of Destruction! See ATVs and Motorbikes take to the sky with the Big Air ATV Show. Get up close and personal with the stunts of the Mega Jump BMX, and cheer on the monster trucks as they compete in freestyle runs through the infield! There’s always good food, great entertainment, and the best racing at ELKO!

Big Air ATV Show
The ATVs and Motorbikes are touching the sky as stuntmen flip, spin, and thrill audiences with their show. See stunts worthy of the X-Games as they get big air over the raceway!
Mega BMX Show
See professional stunts up close on the Concourse with the BMX Bike Show. See them twist and jump with tricks that you definitely shouldn’t try at home!
Monster Trucks
Who will win the title of king of the monsters? The monster trucks are here to fight in freestyle runs that tear across the infield in stunts and jumps and see cars crushed before them!
Burnout Car
See the smoke fly as the Burnout Car burns rubber on the blacktop! Enjoy an exciting display of skill and daring.
Farm Animals
Chickens and rabbits, goats and more! Let your kids have a close encounter of the farming kind! See, pet, and feed a variety of barnyard animals on our Concourse. You might even see a hedgehog or two.

Spectator Drags
Be the king of the track for a night! Participants race until they lose, pitting themselves in one on one laps around the track until only one remains. Cheer them on, or enter them yourselves!
