Come to ELKO! Speedway for our Memorial Weekend Eve of Destruction! Enjoy high octane racing and entertainment as we celebrate the beginning of summer with the biggest thrills. From petting zoos to monster trucks, drifters to the high-flying ATV Show, there is tons of fun for all ages. Come join us as we open for our 2023 season and don’t miss a second of the action!

Enjoy a night full of family friendly entertainment, and we’ll see you at the races!

What will be there?

Monster Trucks

These beasts of machinery annihilate the infield with glee as they tear up the hills and crush cars with wild abandon! See them compete in freestyle races to see who the best monster truck of them all.

Big Air ATV Show

These crazy stunt drivers are ready to fly through the air on ATVs and motorcycles. Keep your eyes on the sky as they soar 30 feet into the air to perform crazy stunts and tricks!

Drifters

The fast and furious racers burn rubber as they slide around the track in dangerous and beautiful displays of skill! These stunt drivers leave the rest behind in their smoke and dust.

Timberworks Lumberjack Show

See these athletes of the outdoors chop and saw their way through more wood than a woodchuck can chuck! Watch the carve with chainsaws, throw axes, and dance on the log rolls!

Petting Zoo

Experience the furry and feathered side of life with an animal petting zoo! You and the kids can get up close and personal with a variety of barnyard animals that are happy to say hello.

School Bus Figure-8 Races

If you aren’t staying for the bus races, you are missing out! The drivers are crazy, and the action is crazier as they weave between each other in criss cross races through the infield. Cheer on your favorites as they bump and knock each other out of the way.

Racing

All five classes of racing are running, including the popular Late Models, Thunder Cars, Power Stocks, Bandoleros, and Legends! Cheer them on as they battle for the checked flags!

Spectator Drags

Watch fellow fans race in the spectator drags to get bragging rights for the night! Participants drive in one lap drag races until they lose, last man standing wins it all! A crowd favorite to watch or join.

Live Music in Champions

The party is always rocking in Champions, our bar under the grandstand. Come listen to great music from live entertainers as they rock out into the night. Join us jamming to the music of Good for Gary.
