Father Hennepin Festival

Kick off summer with the June 9-11 Father Hennepin Festival in Champlin. It’s a community celebration located off West River Road, at Mississippi Point Park. This year we are incorporating our new riverfront gathering space called Mississippi Crossings and adding a Friday family movie night on stage in the outdoor performance area.

🎡Friday will include a parade, carnival, concessions, family movie night at Mississippi Crossings, Bob’s Rockshow at DC Chandler Park (tickets available online), and fireworks, sponsored by Tetra Pak.
🎡Saturday will include a princess party, kids bingo, business expo, carnival, concessions and live performance by Expedition with guests Weekend Rockstar (tickets available online).
🎡Sunday will feature a kids fishing contest and the carnival wristband special.
Let the countdown to summer begin. Shuttles will provide transportation to and from the festival site. Routes will be released the first week of June and the annual medallion hunt will begin June 5th with buttons and clues available at Speedway Champlin off Miller Road.
