First Saturday Science: Cats, Dogs & Birds: Pets or Predators

Calling all little scientists! Kids of all ages are invited to explore science with fun laboratory experiments and hands-on activities. This month discover how cats, dogs, and birds made the transition from the wild into our homes. In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants explore the process of domestication and uncover the key differences between wild animals and pets. Through activities and observations you’ll learn how behavior, physical traits, and human relationships have shaped these animals over time. Free and open to the public. No registration required.
