Friends of Mears Park Holiday Lighting Ceremony 2023

Please join the Friends of Mears Park as we ring in the 2023 Holiday Season with the official park lighting ceremony. Join your fellow Lowertown residents in merriment (there might even be Christmas Carols involved!) and camaraderie.
The theme this year is Hope, and our signature tree will reflect this. If you have an ornament with the word “Hope” on it, please bring it with you to share. We are going to attempt to hang them, but this is currently in the works. If we do not hang them on the tree, we will exchange them among those who would like to participate.
Please be sure to dress according to weather (last year was VERY cold!), bringing hand/foot warmers and blankets if necessary. We want to get a great turn out.
