John Neitge Earth Day Celebration

The theme for this year’s Earth Day is “Planet vs. Plastics. Every day we are learning more about the negative effects of plastics use. The plastics in our everyday products contain a range of chemicals, many of which we are just learning about, and many of which go unregulated. Unlike natural products and fibers, plastics do not break down, they only get smaller and smaller. Microplastics have been found everywhere, including here at Sunfish Lake. Come in and get some useful information about recycling and reusing plastics, and learn about programs and products that will help you break away from your reliance on plastics-based products. We will have information about textile recycling, natural cleaning products, plastics-free storage solutions, and more!
