Making Space: Mending and Patch Making

Making Space is a new, monthly, FREE drop-in art-making event geared towards adults. Whether you’re looking to build a new skill, have a creative or cathartic moment, or simply be in community and nature, show up and we’ll provide the rest!

In February, we’ll set up a mending clinic and encourage you to bring well-loved pieces looking for a second life. Learn about two ways of mending: sashiko and darning, and/or create a decorative patch to adorn your attire.

Food Drive info: We’re partnering with SACA (South Anoka Community Assistance) for the event. If you’d like to contribute, please see second slide for the most needed items. Donations are not required for participation, but encouraged!
