OVERVIEW:
70+ local and national woodworking retailers, tool manufacturers, lumber sellers, schools, organizations, and makers will be at the Minnesota Woodworkers Guild Annual Expo to show off products, share information, answer questions, and share their knowledge of and passion for woodworking and making.
KIDS WORKSHOP:
We have hands-on fun for the whole family! The Minnesota Woodworkers Guild is partnering with The Works Museum to provide kids with two free adult-accompanied woodworking activities:
– Become a test engineer and learn basic carpentry skills alongside staff from the Works Museum. (This activity is best suited for kids new to the craft of woodworking, ages 5-12.)
– Build your own “plinko” game to take home with Minnesota Woodworkers Guild members. (Ages 5 and up can participate, alongside their adult chaperone).
These events will be held in phases throughout the duration of the expo.
MEET THE MAKERS:
The 2023 Woodworkers Expo will feature numerous informal ongoing demonstrations of various woodworking and related arts by guild members and area makers. We’re looking forward to a great day of learning and sharing!
