Head to the Minnesota Zoo for this spring-time family tradition! Farm Babies is back for an up-close look at farm life in Minnesota. Celebrate the season with animals, farm demonstrations, and more.

Your favorite spring tradition is back with exciting new elements. Gather friends and family and visit the newest additions at the Wells Fargo Family Farm. Learn about conservation efforts at our Pollinator Park and enjoy special activities and demonstrations each Friday – Sunday.

What’s New

Your favorite spring tradition is back with exciting new elements. Gather friends and family and come visit the newly renovated Wells Fargo Family Farm. Explore the new Tractor Trail and learn about conservation efforts at Pollinator Park. Animals, farm demonstrations, games, music, and interactive exhibits await!

Minnesota Zoo Farm Babies Weekend Activities

Enjoy special activities every Friday – Sunday at the Wells Fargo Family Farm in celebration of Farm Babies.

10 am & 1 pm – Photo op with Clydesdale horse
10 am, noon, & 2 pm – Live music
11 am – Goat & sheep demonstration
11:30 am & 3 pm – Milking demonstration
2:30 pm – Pig & chicken feeding by Farm staff
2:30 pm (Saturdays only) – Burnsville Library Story Walk

Minnesota Zoo Farm Babies Hours

The Farm is currently open daily 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm after May 30. Zoo Members may visit the Farm during extended hours from 9:00-10:00 am. June 4 the Farm will close at 4:00 pm.

What baby animals will be at Minnesota Zoo Farm Babies?

Goat kids, calves, piglets, baby lambs and llamas may all be viewable at the Farm, dependent on weather. Certain baby animals are kept indoors for warmth and safety and can be viewed through open barn doors as weather allows.
