Music in the Parks: Tjärnblom

Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music. This week at Loring Park we are hosting Tjärnblom. Tjärnblom, Swedish for “woodland lake flower”, provide Scandinavian tunes with a Minnesota twist. While looking for musical acts to perform this year Tjärnblom requested June 6th as it is National Sweden day to play their Scandinavian repertoire. The concert will begin at 12 pm.
