Screen-Free Saturday: Early Child Open House
Join us for a special Screen-Free Saturday Open House at City of Lakes Waldorf School, a welcoming event for families with young children to experience our early childhood program through hands-on activities including indoor and outdoor free play, seed planting, and beeswax modeling. Held at the close of Screen-Free Week, this is a chance for children to explore, create, and engage in a calm, nurturing environment while families connect with our school.
As conversations continue—sparked in part by initiatives like Close Screens Open Minds—many families are rethinking what meaningful early learning can look like. Our approach has always centered on the developing child, offering a screen-free environment where imagination, movement, and connection take center stage.
