The Twin Cities is full of events this Father’s Day weekend to celebrate Dad and enjoy time together!

Here are a few options to get out and have fun-

Father’s Day on a course

What kind of golf does your family like? Mini golf, Frisbee golf, golfing at the course, whatever type of golf you are looking for the Twin Cities has so many options! There is a great mini-golf course at the Walker roof-top this summer, Central Park in Brooklyn Park has a great frisbee golf course, and the choices of golf courses in the area sure to make any Dad happy!

Head to the Stone Arch Bridge Festival

Visit a zoo

The Como Zoo is free but make sure to make a reservation beforehand. That step is one you do not want to forget! On the other hand, head over to the Minnesota Zoo. They have all your family favorites and everyone will have a good time! If you want to take a road trip, head to Hemker Family Zoo. They will be happy you are there.

If Dad loves a good roller coaster or a thrill ride, ValleyFair is the spot for him. The park is ready for visitors and who hasn’t missed The Power Tower, Wild Thing, and bumper cars! 

Head to ValleyFair and make a day of it! Make sure to visit their site for discounts and the preschoolers get in free pass!

Family Bike Ride

Does Dad want to stay active on Father’s Day? There are so many bike paths around the entire state of Minnesota you can step out the door and find a stretch that you are sure to love! Heading to a drive-in is a family tradition that needs to get checked off your summer bucket list. Visit Wagner’s in Brooklyn Park, they have been a staple for over 35 years. Another option is Sonic. Or just head to his favorite spot! He will be happy to go anywhere!
