Turn up the heat and hit the dance floor with bachata Join us inside the Nicollet Island Pavilion for an energetic, welcoming afternoon of dancing with instructor Erika Cianciaruso.
From 3–5 pm, Erika will teach bachata fundamentals and guide dancers through a fun choreographed routine—no experience necessary. From 5–6 pm, enjoy open dance time to practice your moves and dance freely.
Come with a co-worker, family member, or friends—or come solo and meet new ones! We’ll be partnering up throughout the class, so there’s no need to bring a partner. Dress up or dress down—whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to dance.
🍸 Mintahoe will have the bar open with snacks and drinks available for purchase.
✨ About the instructor:
Erika began dancing at the age of 3 and is a former competitive dancer and international instructor. She has performed around the world and choreographed for large groups and wedding couples alike. She is also an event organizer and promoter in the local social dance scene. Her contagious energy and passion for dance will have you smiling all class long!
This free event is part of the Dancing and Music in the Parks, Nicollet Island Edition series. Registration is preferred to help us anticipate class size, but walk-ins are welcome.
