The Northwest Sportshow presented by Furniture and Things returns to the Minneapolis Convention Center Thursday, March 5 through Sunday, March 8, 2026. The show features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing fishing, boating, tackle, gear, hunting, RVs, motorized vehicles, apparel, travel, and much more. New this year will be an expanded focus on hunting to include representatives from Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Minnesota DNR.
SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
Fishing Demonstration Tank
Watch pro anglers demonstrate their fishing and casting skills at this 5,000-gallon aquarium stocked with native Minnesota species.
Trout Pond
There’s no limit to the fun! The catch-and-release fishing pond is a great way to introduce youngsters to the fun of fishing.
Fishing 101: Presented by Lund
Covers basic fishing skills for all anglers. Cast for big fish at LUNDker Lake or test your casting accuracy at Backyard Flipping. Young anglers can pick up a free fishing coloring book or play a game of FISH Bingo too! It’s staffed by Lund Boat Fishing Pros and Student Angler Tournament Trail Coaches.
Hunting Area
New in 2026, the Northwest Sportshow will have a larger emphasis on hunting. The area will include the National Wild Turkey Federation where guests can learn about turkey hunting setups, decoys, turkey calls, and mentor hunts for youth. The Minnesota DNR will also be featured, showcasing the Wall of Shame (illegally harvested animals) and highlighting stories of offenders caught through the Turn in Poachers program.
Ducks Unlimited
Learn how Ducks Unlimited (DU) works to conserve wetlands and protect waterfowl in Minnesota. Help fill the skies with waterfowl for future generations by supporting DU’s conservation mission with a silent auction and raffles. FREE Duck Decoy painting for kids (while supplies last).
RV Area presented by Metro RV Dealers Association
Seven dealers, including Open Road RV, Markquart RV, North Country RV, Hilltop Camper & RV, Pleasureland RV, Niemeyer Trailer Sales, and Minneapolis Trailer Sales, will be showcasing the latest and greatest models sprawled across 60,000 sq. ft of the show floor.
Up North Lodge presented by Furniture & Things
A relaxing escape from winter where guests can enjoy a drink and listen to live music while hanging out with their crew at our Minnesota-inspired oasis.
Walleye Fish Fry
A tasty tradition returns as the Friday walleye fish fry takes place Friday, March 6 from 3 – 7 p.m. The fry will be in Lobby C. Guests will receive four pieces of beer battered walleye with tartar sauce and fresh lemon plus their choice of side – fries, kettle chips, or applesauce.
