The PEP Talks program, launched in 2024, was designed to provide parents and caregivers of school-aged children with the opportunity to learn more about topics relating to raising kids in today’s world. Presentations are open to the public and non-religious in nature. Guest speakers are individuals and community organizations with expertise on a wide variety of parenting topics. Free childcare is available with actives for the kiddos, but must be requested BY THE FRIDAY BEFORE THE EVENT.
Grab a friend, a partner, a teacher, an elder, or a neighbor! All are welcome, whether or not you have kids!
~ This year has catapulted our communities into places we never imagined. HOW do we process? HOW do we support our children? WHAT can we do when we feel the effects of fear, unease, and stress on a daily basis?
~ Join certified parent coach and South Minneapolis resident Molly Feigal for an interactive conversation about ways to support ourselves AND our kids in the midst of it all.
~ We’ll find a few moments of calm so our bodies can chemically re-set closer to equilibrium. We can’t make it go away…BUT we can get through it together. Check out our website at: https://www.pcotw.org/Parent-Education
