School of Rock is bringing its performance-based music education program to Blaine and is celebrating with a free, family-friendly grand opening event on Saturday, April 18.
Community members are invited to stop by School of Rock Blaine to tour the new school, meet the team, and experience the program in action. The afternoon will feature live performances by student bands, trial music lessons, face painting, and interactive brain games provided by local business LearningRx.
Guests will also be able to explore the school’s rehearsal spaces and learn more about how School of Rock’s unique approach helps students develop musical abilities while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.
School of Rock Blaine is owned by local musician and educator Joe Grieman, who opened the school to bring more music education opportunities to the Blaine community.
School of Rock offers programs for kids, teens, and adults, with students receiving one-on-one lessons in guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or vocals and participating in group rehearsals that lead to live performances.
The event is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend.
