Create your own Scrappy Easter Eggs from stained glass pieces
In this workshop, we will demo how to layout a simple oval egg shape from scrap glass, foil the pieces, and solder together. We’ll add optional wires and beads and then attach some hanging rings. Choose to complete 1 egg or a series of 3.
Ages 10+ and all skill levels welcome, but prior soldering experience is encouraged. It takes a little extra patience to get the wires to solder, slow and steady is key, but it’s not the easiest!
We will be working with sharp glass and chemicals. Safety glasses, garden gloves for cutting and nitrile gloves for soldering are provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
