Cadenza Music is a locally owned and operated full service music center that has been operating out of the same St Paul location for over 50 years. We offer private lessons in 20+ instruments, instrument rentals and sales, kids classes, summer camps, instrument repair, birthday parties, and live events. We are currently the ONLY band and orchestra store within St Paul city limits. Music education is incredibly beneficial to brain development and well being, as has been documented and studied for years. We would love to help you or your child on your musical journey. Cadenza Music Birthday Parties

Let Cadenza Music take care of your next birthday party, for a fun-filled, stress-free day. You’ll get 2 hours in spacious Studio 20, a 30-min guided music class, a 30-min dance party complete with lights and a disco ball, and more!

Included:

• 2 hours in Studio 20
• 30 minute music class
• 30 minute dance party
• Party favors for up to 12 guests (caregivers are welcome to stay and participate in the party)
• Bubble machine
• 1 hour of free play in the space
• Optional face painting
• Family can enter the space 30 mins (maximum) ahead of time for set up. You’re welcome to bring in any snacks, cake, or other refreshments. We have plenty of tables and chairs for your use.

The music class will be led by Cadenza Kids teacher + founder, Christina Pawlowski and includes simple songs, circle games, musical instrument jam time, dancing, scarves, parachute play, and a guided transition to the next phase of the party.

The dance party includes a curated playlist of kid-approved, family friendly dance music (if your kid has specific taste in music, let us know! We’d love to play their favorite tunes), children’s instruments, bubble machine, disco ball + fun lights.

Cadenza Kids summer camp weaves music, movement and art together for a dynamic, joyful week culminating in a celebratory performance for caregivers. This year we will offer two weeks, each around a nature-based theme: Oceans and Woodlands. A few of the musical activities we’ll explore are:

• Musical instruments
• Dance
• Group singing
• Learning about rhythm and melody
• Musical games
• Art
• And more!

Cadenza Kids summer camp is a week-long program running 5 consecutive mornings. The camp will engage children in making rhythm and melody, moving to music, creating art, exploring instruments, singing and more. On the final morning of camp, caregivers are welcome to join us for a celebratory performance.
