Home to SandVenture Aquatic Park and an 18-hole Disc Golf Course, this park is a favorite for picnics, family reunions and community events. The 50-acre park has a basketball court, playground, tennis courts, hockey rink and pleasure skating area. The park is also home to the Youth Building, an insulated log cabin available for rent year-round.

Also located at Lions Park is the Fun For All Playground – an inclusive playground intended to provide accessible age and development appropriate activities that stimulate all children physically, emotionally, and socially.

Online Review: Best park in Shakopee. It’s well kept and if you want lunch hy vee is right there. Awesome sledding hill in the winter and pool in the summer. Frisbee golf course is very popular.
