Nicollet Commons Park

Water feature in Burnsville

Nicollet Commons Park is a “town square” style park  and serves as the focal point of Burnsville’s Heart of the City (126th Street and Nicollet Avenue). The park features a 250-seat amphitheater for concerts and events, open green space, places for patrons to sit and enjoy lunch, and a water feature. Park hours are 5 a.m. to midnight.

The water feature at Nicollet Commons is open the third weekend in May through the third weekend in September, weather permitting.

Water Feature Schedule
9 a.m. – midnight: the river and all features in the river are active
9 a.m. – 8 p.m.: water jets in the plaza can be activated by pressing the splash pad button
8 p.m. – midnight: the river is active, lights are on
