Get ready, families! Santa Claus is coming to town with a splash of excitement on Saturday, Nov. 1, as he makes his grand arrival at Cabela’s in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Kick off the holiday season with a FREE, festive event as Santa arrives in style on a pontoon boat to launch Santa’s Wonderland—a magical, family-friendly Christmas village experience that’s all about holiday joy, activities, and photos!
Cabela’s is proud to invite families to the beloved tradition of visiting Santa Claus during the annual Santa’s Wonderland experience. FREE 4×6 studio-quality photos with Santa are available now through Tuesday, December 24.
But the magic doesn’t stop there! Every Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s destination has been transformed into a winter wonderland with cabins, snowy hills, elves, festive decorations and holiday activities. Visit these two exciting new and free elements to Santa’s Wonderland to spread extra cheer. These are in addition to the FREE photos that are available 7 days a week:
Santa’s Wonderland features games, toy stations and crafts. Visitors will enjoy a variety of holiday giveaways during weekday visits, including candy canes and special gifts (while supplies last), including:

- Shrink Art Crafts

- Reservations Available: Save your spot by making a reservation on the Cabela’s website up to a week in advance.
- Holiday-Themed Games & Crafts: Weekdays are packed with festive crafts, games, and even giveaways!
- Holiday Wish List Mailbox: Kids can send their holiday wishes directly to the North Pole.
Note: Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis for photos with Santa, but reservations are recommended to ensure you don’t miss out on the fun!
