Mobile Mini-Concerts in Minneapolis

The Bach Society’s fourth installment of the Mobile Mini-Concerts, with BSM Artists performing hundreds of concerts in various genres throughout Minnesota’s parks, neighborhoods, and even your porch!

Charles Asch performs on baroque and modern cello throughout the Twin Cities and Minnesota. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Minnesota. He performs with Lyra Baroque Orchestra as well as with other local period instrument ensembles. His baroque cello is by an unknown maker located likely in Lower Austria, made between about 1690-1730, based on an older pattern with a smaller body and rounder ribs, and is strung with gut strings made in Duluth by Gamut Strings.
