The month of November gives us so many reasons to celebrate. In Minnesota, we start to feel the colder weather and the much shorter days. Both of those things can mean more time indoors with the kids. We will be sharing ideas to keep your kids busy and happy either at home or around the Twin Cities. Make sure to check back often if you are starting to feel a bit cooped up! This month also brings on holiday traditions and gatherings with friends and family that provide the connections our families crave. A traditional or non-traditional (we do both!) Thanksgiving meal doesn’t hurt either!
This month will be a month of giving back and community service opportunities are plentiful. This type of works can feed our soul, that feeling of giving back and making a difference in someone’s life is like no other feeling.
As you gather with family and friends this holiday season is a time to reflect on the pandemic and that it may have prevented us from celebrating the usual way last year. Perhaps you created new traditions that would have never been established! We happened to play bingo over zoom and picked prizes in lieu of spending time together and we had so much fun! Carrying these memories is a wonderful reminder of how much we have to be thankful and grateful for this holiday season.
We are grateful to bring Minnesota Parent’s the information they need to succeed while raising their kids. You’re doing such an important job and you are all doing amazing at it! Be very proud of yourself!
