Do you need this? The Book of Totally Irresponsible Science by Sean Connolly

I did three experiments out of The Book of Totally Irresponsible Science. The last one was with my neighbor Henry Saarinen. The first was a disaster. The second was probably the best, and I think the last was not great. The first time I tried “turning milk to stone” — horrible. The acid in vinegar is supposed to separate the curd. I tried putting vinegar in it and microwaving it and straining it. I even tried two kinds of vinegar, but it stayed a liquid. The second was the best. I tried “sandwich in a jar.” You put honey, oil, and water in a jar and it makes sandwich layers on its own. It worked well, but I recommend using more honey, oil, and water. Last, I did “leak non-leak bottle,” which was not great. You poke holes in a plastic bottle, fill it, and put the cap on. It is supposed to only leak if you lift the cap. It would leak anyhow. I would recommend this book for 10-year-olds on up because it’s hard to get the experiments done. It says “9 and up” and I am 9 and I only got one that worked. You also need quite a few things for it. You would most likely have to buy them.
