Make sure you head to Gammelgården when you’re at Taco Daze on Saturday, September 12th from 10-4! We have a lot of great activities planned – including an antique tractor and steam engine show; having the 1870s barn open with one of our tour guides; and exhibits open on the second floor of the Welcome House (the big red building). See over 50 tools and patterns for making shoes in the 1800s; and textiles and clothes from the 1850s to 1950s.

Need a break from all the activity at Taco Daze? Choose one of the many board nad card games from our library to play on the second floor of the Welcome House!

We also have several hundred books for people of all ages – from children to adults – to read on site.

While you’re at the Museum, remember to get your ticket (or tickets!) for Running of the Meatballs! One ticket is $5 and 5 tickets are $20. You’ll have a chance to win one of 11 prizes (valued at $500 to $35) donated by local businesses and Gammelgården’s board of directors.
