Inspired by the true story of the Newsboys’ Strike of 1899, Newsies is a thrilling musical packed with high-energy dance numbers, unforgettable songs, and a powerful story of courage, friendship, and standing up for what’s right.
When newspaper publishers raise prices at the expense of the newsboys who sell their papers, charismatic Jack Kelly and his fellow newsies rally together to fight for justice. What begins as a struggle for survival becomes a movement that proves even the youngest voices can change the world.
Featuring a talented cast of youth performers and Summerstock artists, this inspiring production brings the streets of New York City to life with stunning choreography, beloved songs like Seize the Day and Santa Fe, and a story that continues to resonate today.
