Since 1973, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre (HOBT) has been at the forefront of puppetry arts, shaping a vibrant creative community in the Twin Cities and beyond.
Internationally recognized for their artistry and imagination, HOBT brings stories to life using puppets of all shapes and sizes—playful, powerful, whimsical, and wild. Through movement, voice, color, and form, their performances reflect the world as it is and envision the world as it could be. At its heart, HOBT is a collective of artists and neighbors creating magic together through storytelling, spectacle and community engagement.
