This week at Water Works we are hosting Sawyer’s Dream, an Americana group. Sawyer’s Dream is inspired by beautiful Vocal Harmony Bands of the 70s and the writings of Mark Twain. The Name Sawyer’s Dream comes from the Adventures of Tom Sawyer Chapter 18: Tom’s Dream, where finds himself stranded on an island and dreams of his home. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
