Get ready for the 55th Annual Sinclair Lewis Days: Once Upon a Main Street, happening July 15–19, 2026, in Sauk Centre, Minnesota!
This week-long celebration brings small-town magic to life with family-friendly fun, food, music, shopping, parades, fireworks, and plenty of community spirit. Hosted by the Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce and made possible by generous local sponsors, Sinclair Lewis Days is one of Sauk Centre’s favorite summer traditions.
This year’s theme, Once Upon a Main Street, invites storybook themes, fairytale characters, literary icons, and creative floats that celebrate the stories that shaped our town and the people still writing it today.
A few highlights planned for the week include the Medallion Hunt, Crazy Days sidewalk sales, Summer Cash Raffle, Youth Business Vendor Showcase, live music, food trucks, family entertainment in the park, Kiddie Parade, storybook entertainers, fireworks, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, turtle races, Family Fun Festival inflatables, the Sinclair Lewis Days Parade, beer garden, outdoor movies, tournaments, car show, craft fair, vendor market, and more.
The Summer Cash Raffle helps make many of these events possible. Raffle dollars support Sinclair Lewis Days activities, parade entertainment, Holiday Kickoff events, You’ve Been Elfed promotions, speakers, professional development programs, scholarships, community events, educational opportunities, and more. Only 350 raffle tickets will be sold, with $17,500 in cash prizes awarded. Tickets are available at the Chamber office or from Chamber Board Members.
