Sunset Bus Tour

Ride into the Sunset – literally! Join us on a guided bus tour through the Long Meadow Lake trail. This tour offers the opportunity to view floodplain forests, and diverse wildlife all from the comfort of our climate-controlled bus. No experience needed. This program is indoor/outdoor. Participants will be seated in a shuttle bus as we ride on the Long Meadow Lake trail. This is an easy level of movement program.

Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.

Accessibility at Bloomington Visitor Center:

Restrooms and water fountains are located inside the visitor center. Handicap parking and drop-off available. Visitor center is flat aggregate or carpeted flooring with ramps to access all areas. There are benches and rest areas around the visitor center.

Bus Accessibility:

Refuge shuttle bus is ADA accessible and can accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs. Bus is climate controlled and equipped with a PA system that rangers will use to interpret the program.
Trail conditions can vary and may be bumpy- each participant will have a seat belt.
