The playground design concept is “play in motion,”, where each piece of equipment leads to the next item of play, with an emphasis on ADA accessibility and equitable play.

Park Info

1104 Lions Park Drive – A 34.76-acre park centrally located in the city. There are four shelters and a large pavilion that can be rented for family reunions, birthday parties, etc. In 2020 Lion John Weicht Park was updated to have two softball fields where the Elk River High School softball team practices and plays. A new 100-person pavilion was added along with restrooms, server kitchen and a concessions area.
