2026 Minnesota Aurora FC’s Guide for Families

This is a Sponsored Post from Minnesota Aurora.

Cheering on Minnesota Aurora FC at TCO Stadium and creating memories with your family and friends is the GOAL!  This guide will coach you through everything you and your family need to know before heading to Aurora’s outdoor game, including parking options, special promotions, kid-friendly concessions items and so much more!

How much do Aurora tickets cost?

Tickets start at just $20 for general admission seats. Club and reserved seats may be available for purchase.  (View below map with seating chart and tickets prices. )
Don’t forget kids 3 and under are FREE and do not need a ticket for entry.

Are there discounts for large groups of fans?

Yes! Invite your extended family or neighbors down the street!
Groups of 10+ have access to discounted tickets. Click here for more information https://mnaurora.com/club/group-tickets/ or email group sales rep directly at:  groups@mnaurora.com

How do Aurora fans find their seats?

  • Club or Reserved ticket holders – Follow the signs for your section and specific seat number.
  • General Admission (GA) ticket holders – Have your kiddos lead the way!  GA tickets allow you and your family to sit anywhere you like in the teal sections on this map (below), this includes the entire far side of the field plus sections 101 and 108 on the near side.

  • Looking for space to spread out? The grass berm at the end of the field closest to the entrance is also available to all ticket holders. This is a fun and fantastic place for families to spread out, relax and let kids run around. This location provides excellent site lines for the game play while offering extra space for those with wiggles.   You are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on!
  • Section 121 is home to Aurora’s loyal and loud supporter group, MN Revontulet!
Anyone is welcome to join them there, and it is generally the highest-energy (and loudest!) place in the stadium!

Where do we park and what is the cost for parking?

The main parking lot is FREE (!!!) and an easy walk to the stadium. If you need a closer parking space, premium parking spaces are available for purchase in advance of game day on mnaurora.com

ADA parking is available and free for those who need it.

What time should my family arrive?

Gates open 60 minutes before each game.  It is recommended that fans arrive at least 30 minutes before kickoff to find seats, check out activities on the concourse, visit a merchandise stand or grab concessions items!

Does TCO Stadium sell food & drinks?

Yes!  Concessions stands are located at midfield on both sides of the stadium.  Family favorites typically include hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, chicken tenders, and vegetarian options.   There are additional concessions located along the concourse, including local food truck Los Ocampo!
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.

What happens if it rains?

Minnesota Aurora FC players hit the field rain or shine, unless there is lightning spotted in the area.
Fans are welcome to bring rain gear including small umbrellas if rain is forecasted.

Are Aurora games family-friendly?

Yes – Absolutely! Families and kids of all ages are welcome at Aurora games and it is frequently heard that Aurora games are one of the easiest events in the area to attend with kids. The grass berm seating is particularly popular with families, but kids are welcome anywhere.

Mascot Must-See!

Have your kids keep an eye out for Aurora’s mascot, Rory the Aurorasaurus – she’s a hit with the little ones.

Snap a picture or give her a high-five!

What do Aurora fans wear?

Teal, of course! Check out the latest 2026 Aurora team merchandise!  Merchandise can be found onsite at the team store and merch tents or purchase here in advance on the website.  Adult and kids sizes are available and vary by products.

The Rules of the Game

If you are coming to a game for the first time – WELCOME! Soccer is a sport that takes a lifetime to master… but the good news is, it’s very easy to grasp the basics!

Below are five things every fan should know to feel like a soccer expert!

  1. The Game Clock. Like most soccer leagues, USL-W games are divided into two 45-minute halves. The clock runs continuously (and counts up), so at the end of the half, one of the officials will add time to the clock to account for any time that was spent not in active play, whether from injury, hydration breaks, or other interruptions in play. This is called stoppage time and is often in the 2 to 5 minute range. Plays made in stoppage time count exactly the same as other regulation plays!
  2. Substitutions. Each team is allowed 7 subs per game, during a maximum of three substitution moments. (Halftime doesn’t count as a substitution moment.) Once a player comes out of the game for a substitute, they can’t go back in. If a player is removed for a head injury/concussion protocol, their substitution does not count toward the 7-player limit.
  3. Fouls. Fouls can be charged for a lot of different actions in play, including tripping, shoving from behind, or grabbing a player or their uniform. Shoulder-to-shoulder contact is acceptable. Just because someone takes a dive doesn’t mean they were necessarily fouled! Egregious fouls may be charged with a yellow card (warning) or red card (immediate ejection from the match). Any player receiving two yellow cards or one red card will be removed from the match, and their team will not be able to bring in a new player to replace them for the remainder of the match.
  4. Points and Standings. Teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss. Standings within a division are based on total number of points, using head-to-head results as the first tiebreaker and then points per game if necessary. There is no overtime in regular season games if a game ends in a tie.
  5. Offsides. Perhaps the most confusing rule for a new soccer fan to grasp…. And for many expert watchers too!

There should always be two defenders between a player who receives the ball and the goal they are shooting toward. (Usually, one of those defenders is the goalkeeper.) If a player receives a pass and they are ahead of all the other players on the opposing team, or all the players except the goalkeeper, they would be called offsides. It is fine for a player to stand in an offsides position if they don’t have the ball, but once they receive the ball, the play is assessed for offsides.

That’s it – now you’re a pro!

We look forward to seeing you and your family for Aurora Home games at TCO Stadium in Eagan, MN.
