Cars and Caves, the outdoor auto extravaganza featuring collector, classic, and exotic cars, hosted by Chanhassen AutoPlex (8150 Audubon Road), continues its 2026 season!
The Cars and Caves summer event in Chanhassen, Minnesota, is a popular family-friendly gathering held on the last Saturday of each month from April through September. Hosted at the Chanhassen AutoPlex, this event transforms the space into a vibrant showcase featuring an eclectic mix of classic cars, exotic models, sports cars, and motorcycles. The unique aspect of Cars and Caves is the combination of viewing these spectacular vehicles while exploring the luxury garages of the AutoPlex owners, who open their personal “caves” filled with automotive memorabilia, collectibles, and themed decor.
Spanning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event is free to the public, making it an accessible outing for families. It not only offers a feast for the eyes with the array of beautiful and rare cars but also provides an engaging experience as visitors learn about automotive history and the personal stories of the car owners and collectors. Each event features a special theme or honors a specific make or type of vehicle, adding a fresh element of interest each month.

Cars and Caves features more than 400 vehicles on display indoors and outdoors across the entire Chanhassen AutoPlex campus. Many of the 120 unique, personalized garage condos (referred to as Caves) will be open for visitors to see. Collector car owners are invited to attend and display their vehicle as well.
Cars and Caves is free and includes free on-site parking for guests and tasty food and beverages.
