There’s nothing complicated about the Sippi Grip. It functions basically like a larger and more durable pacifier clip, except that it’s for bottles, sippy cups, and toys. We were interested in it for my 6-month-old’s teething toys — he’s learned to launch anything he’s done gnawing on, leaving me or my husband to play zone defense around the stroller or high chair or while we’re wearing him. We tested it with toys of various shapes — and one sippy cup — and it worked well. The Velcro on both ends is tough and secure and the strap is adjustable so you can cinch it up on low-riding strollers or dangle it from high chairs. It comes in a variety of bright colors, is washable and American-made. The only con is that I wouldn’t let my son have this unattended; the strap is quite long and could potentially wrap around appendages inadvertently. But, it’s a great augmentation to my son’s toys right now when I’m around; he had a great time pulling on the strap and discovering again what he just launched.
