Summer heat leads to loads of family fun at Minnesota’s largest outdoor water park, Bunker Beach! Located in Bunker Hills Regional Park, Bunker Beach has six towering water slides, a wave pool, a 900-foot Lazy River and more for everyone to enjoy!

Before arriving at Bunker Beach, purchase your tickets online for quicker access to enter the facility. Season pass holders have even quicker access to Bunker Beach and are usually the first guests through the gates at 11 am! Forgot your sunscreen? Don’t stress, you can find all the necessities including sunscreen, towels and goggles at Beach Boutique. For the little ones, you can rent a US Coast Guard approved lifejacket for all-day use too.

Bunker Beach has two concessions stands selling fresh salads, whole pizzas, ice cream, burgers and more. While no outside food or coolers are allowed, families who prefer not to eat from the concessions can get a hand stamp to picnic at the tables or grassy areas around the parking lot and use the hand stamp for easy re-entry to the facility. Bunker Beach also strongly encourages guests and families to bring reusable water bottles into the facility to stay hydrated all day. There are two water-bottle filling stations within the facility, so you don’t have to wait in line at the concessions stands for refills.

Once you’ve made your way into the facility, applied sunscreen and fill your water bottles, it’s time to get in the water! Bunker Beach has five pools and a splash pad, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy! The new Splash Pad is a great way to introduce younger children to the aquatic environment. Once those little ones are ready for something bigger, the Lagoon has features such as water sprayers and a large water-dumping bucket. In the center of the facility, you will find the Adventure Pool with more water sprayers and small slides for the little ones to enjoy! For more adventurous guests, Twisted Towers and Splash Cove include two body slides, four tube slides and the Wiggly Water Walk. Located at the north end of the facility you will find the Lazy River where you can relax the day away or head over to Rocky Bay to climb the rock wall or play in-water basketball. For those looking for the most thrill, the Wave Pool runs on a cycle of 15 minutes on and 10 minutes off with 3-foot ocean-like waves. All five pools are heated with temperatures ranging from 80 to 82 degrees.

On a budget? Bunker Beach has you covered! Visit from 4 to 7 pm for a twilight discount on admission. Also, save on a full day of fun with Explore Your Parks Day’s and BOGO Admission Day’s! Tot Time is a great way to get pre-K aged swimmers acclimated to the water. Tot Time is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 am for only $5 per child (accompanying adults are FREE).

If you’re looking to enhance your experience at Bunker Beach, consider renting a private cabana. With seating for up to 20 guests, cabanas offer shaded seating and bottled water for the whole family.
