When taking your child to a Minnesota Vikings game, here are some important things to know:

What Can Families Do Before the Vikings Game

Delta Vikings Village is the perfect place to get the party started before kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium. Enjoy live entertainment or grab a beverage in the Longhouse with friends. Vikings fans can enjoy the deck at the Vikings Longhouse this season! Stop by any of the sponsor tents for photo ops, activities and chances to win prizes. If you’re looking for food, check out Vikings Table Food Truck. The party starts three hours before gates open and goes all the way to kickoff!

Head over to Commons Park, right next to Vikings Village, to experience activities like tailgate games, oversized bag boards, football barrel toss, fan contests, photo ops and more. Enjoy entertainment from DJ A-Quil starting three hours before kickoff, along with performances from the Vikings Skol Line and Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders.

Tickets and Seating: Make sure to purchase tickets in advance and choose seats suitable for your child’s comfort and viewing experience.

Weather: Minnesota’s weather can be unpredictable. Dress appropriately for the season and consider bringing extra layers, blankets, or rain gear if necessary.

Game Schedule: Check the game schedule, kickoff time, and parking information in advance to plan your arrival and departure.

Security: Be prepared for security checks at the stadium entrance. Familiarize yourself with the stadium’s security policies and arrive early to avoid long lines.

Getting to the Vikings Game

Plan your transportation to the stadium, and if you’re driving, arrive early to secure parking. Consider public transportation or rideshare options to avoid parking hassles. What are the bag restrictions at U.S. Bank Stadium? 

Clear Bags (smaller than 12”x12”x6”) are recommended when entering U.S. Bank Stadium. We do allow small clutch bags (4.5”x6.5”) to enter upon inspection; however, many commons bags are too large.

  • Can I bring a diaper bag? (size requirement?) 
    • Diaper bags are allowed upon inspection inside U.S. Bank Stadium. There is no size restriction.
  • Can I bring a pumping bag? Where can I pump? 
    • Pumping bags are allowed upon inspection inside of U.S. Bank Stadium. There are 4 Mother’s Pods (Sections 103, 113, 307, and 333) and 1 Mother’s Room (Section 124) for mothers to pump.

Do you have any tips for bringing an infant to the Vikings game? 

We would recommend bringing headphones to the game; however, if you do not have any, there are headphones for rent at all guest services booths. Near all women’s and men’s bathrooms, there are family restrooms for use.

Good to Know at the Minnesota Vikings Game

Baby Changing Stations: Baby changing stations can be found in all public restrooms located throughout U.S. Bank Stadium.

Sensory Bags: A Fan Sensory Kit was designed to help fans with special sensory needs feel comfortable and remain engaged during games. Items were chosen to mitigate environmental factors and provide engaging sensory input on multiple level to meet the unique needs of users. Available at Guest Services located on the Main Concourse near the Purple and Gold lobbies or Section 307 on the Upper Concourse.
